The Classical Public Radio Network (CPRN) is a national, 24-hour classical music service. Its mission is to preserve, enhance and expand the experience of classical music for radio listeners. With that vision, CPRN was established in 1998 as a limited-liability non-profit company - a joint venture of KUSC, Los Angeles, and Colorado Public Radio - with investment from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. In 2003, CPRN and National Public Radio (NPR) joined in a collaborative marketing arrangement to further expand the network. This unique service is dedicated to unparalleled classical music programming through:
A 24-hour stream of the greatest classical compositions in the finest recorded performances.
Distinctive announcers who bring the music alive with engaging, insightful commentary as well as special features about the music and musicians.
Fundraising programming and services that reflect CPRN's high programming standards.
State-of-the-art engineering and individualized station service and support.
Local time broadcasting for all continental US time zones.
